The Book of James is a practical book full of wisdom keys for godly living. Framed within an overall theme of patient perseverance during trials and temptations, James encourages christ-followers to become authentic in their worship as they live out their beliefs, become broken in their walk as they humbly depend upon God in prayer and become courageous in their work as they fulfil God’s purposes with God’s wisdom rather than worldly wisdom. This teaching series will help you with practical handles on living daily for God’s glory as you become a disciple of a certain kind. We invite you to study this practical book together with Pastor Paul.
The Book of Jonah is an interesting book with a twist. It is one of the twelve minor prophetical books in the Old Testament. Prophetic books usually deal with God’s messages to God’s people through His prophet. But the Book of Jonah is different. It is about God’s working in the life of His prophet. We are going to study this very familiar story with a surprise ending to understand who God is and How He works in human affairs. If you are curious about knowing God’s will, understanding God’s mission and how God works it out in our lives, then study the book of Jonah together with Pastor Paul.
During June to Sunday 7 August.
